Climate Change and the Age of Stupid

Journal Entry: Tue Jun 30, 2009, 3:24 AM

So I got up today and talked to my family about climate change and annoyingly got negitive feedback 'whats the point?, well there not, hes not, no ones doing this and blah blah'
Im thinking that people are starting to become de-sensitized about climate change because there hearing so much about it on the news and other sources of media.

seems to me that if everyone thinks tackling climate change is pointless then were all screwed

I think that we need people to try and that we need people to fight for this because it seems the only hope we have.
unless on some level we believe that we should be punished? interesting thought.
I think I made a point in the end that we need people to fight through this because if no one does whats the point.

but anyway there is going to be a screening of the age of stupid at st.Josephs club in Birtley, (gateshead, england) and if anyone lives close or knows of anyone in the area that would be interested in coming along that would be great :-)
for people with facebook more info about the event is here:
